Rainy and fast!

This was my first race in Cambridge.  I was pretty anxious about the weather.  Heat is my Kryptonite and had heard this race gets hot.  Fortuntately..... it rained pretty hard for most of the bike and the sun and humidity didn't come out til I was halfway done with the run.  I thought the roads were a little bumpy, but Ironman did a good job of spray painting the bumps.  Flat course as advertised.  I think if it hadn't have rained I would have struggled with the heat and humidity on the flat course.  I was pretty stoked to have my kids participate in the ironkids program.  I think it was the first year they had it since Covid.  Overall, fun race.
