I had a crazy goal to go under 2:00 for my half marathon, however 2 weeks prior to the race my husband who was going to help me pace had a injury that sidelined him. While that was dissapointing I picked up the pieced and worked forward with this goal that I didn't think would be obtainable. While I was just 3 minutes shy of my goal, I was finally able to beat a Half Marathon PR that I had set back in 2016 by a whooping 6 minutes.
So moral of the story, sometimes I think we don't feel as prepared to meet our goals but maybe just maybe we are closer than we think! I worked extremely hard over the past 45 days and my results showed!
