I am an ex England international footballer who unfortunately had to retire due to injury. As part of my recovery I took up swimming and quickly found my new sport of open water swimming. I am now a marathon swimmer who swims in blue seventy wetsuits and next year I plan to swim the lengths of different lakes in England including the biggest lake in England, lake Windermere (11 miles).
