I have been running most of my adult life. It’s the one thing that has stayed constant throughout all phases of my adulthood so far. When my second and youngest child was almost 1 year old, I did my first triathlon, in 2009. I have worked my way from sprint triathlon up to full Ironman. I also enjoy mountain biking and have completed 3 100mi mountain bike races. I coach my son’s youth MTB team and enjoy volunteering with my daughters cross country and ski teams. I do anywhere from 4-7 triathlons per year, and have been fortunate to be able to compete in the Ironman 70.3 World Championship in 2017 and in 2021. I have completed the Boston Marathon 7x (including 2020 Virtual). I work for Ford as a product design engineer and have a husband who is a cyclist and pushes me to improve on the bike. I learned to swim as an adult and my first wetsuit was an Ironman Stealth suit
