I am a married 56 year old father of one girl. and have been participating in triathlon for almost seven years. I started exercising after I had a heart attack and open heart bypass surgery at the age of 49 I first started running but was drawn to triathlon. I have since completed 7 half Ironman competitions and 4 Full Ironman I have also completed 2 5k swims and escape from Alcatraz. I usually finish in the bottom 25 percent. But always love the challenge. I work as a corporate Pilot and have been married for 35 years. This year 2022. I came down with a bad case of cancer (stage 4 appendix cancer peritoneal matasis ) but hope to continue to compete in shorter races next year
