Hi there!
My name is Becky Rodgers and I am a lover of all things ocean related, but particularly ocean swimming!
My love for the sport increased during COVID-19 lockdowns when pools were closed. I started exploring different beaches up and down the coast of California with different meet up groups and just fell in love with the sport and the COMMUNITY.
In terms of life outside the ocean, I am a wife to an incredibly supportive husband and Neurology Nurse Practitioner working in Long Beach & Los Alamitos. I also help care for my grandmother who suffers with Alzheimer's Disease.
Swimming provides me with an incredible outlet during times of stress and uncertainty. I am truly grateful to be physically able to swim and enjoy the wonderful open water community. Special shout out of to the OC Merpeople, One With Ocean, UCLA BPE, LA Jolla Cove Swimmers, OceanFever, & LAPs swimmers.
