An avid athlete from an early age, I grew up ski racing in Colorado until I decided to walk onto the University of Washington crew team where I had three undefeated PAC 12 seasons and came in 4th at NCAA's. After my collegiate career came to an end I dabbled in triathlon and completed the Boulder 70.3 in 2017 but in the process fell in love with open water swimming. Since then I have completed multiple marathon swims; Amy Hiland, Catalina Channel, Santa Barbara Channel, Coronado Circumnavigation, and the length of Lake Tahoe which made me the 21st person to complete the CA Triple Crown Swim Series.
