Hello! My name is Annie Pedlar and I joined in on the fun of open water swimming during the pandemic (~March 2021). I have been a traditional pool swimmer since I was 9 years old (I am now 32) and currently swim with a master's team in Marin County, CA. I am thrilled to be part of two open water swimming groups, the South End Rowing Club and Marin Open Water Swimming. I love the culture and enthusiasm in open water swimming and am excited to have found a new loved hobby! On the side I enjoy hiking beautiful coastal trails and yoga. I am a firm believer in living a healthy lifestyle and carry out this belief in all aspects of my life. I am a nurse practitioner and truly feel that a healthy body is a main contributor to fulfilling and sustaining a happy and healthy life.
When I was first started open water swimming I fell in love with the Blueseventy wetsuits and quickly purchased one. It has the perfect amount of buoyancy (especially in the legs), is durable, and the overall fit is fantastic. I highly recommend Blueseventy to all people who inquire/ask what I open water swim in.
