I'm a runner who 5 years ago fell in love with triathlon. Since that time, I have lived, breathed getting stronger as an age group athlete. Although at 49 it is not that easy to do, however I keep up the good fight. I use to think that an Ironman race was insane. That I could never do that. However as the quote goes. "Everything is Impossible until it is done" However what really draws me to running and triathlon is the community. I met my wife 7 years ago on a run, and I have met my best friends doing triathlon. The joy this sport has provided me is unequal, and if you know me it shows. I LOVE helping others in this sport. I love training with people slower than me, faster than me. I love talking about the sport. Promoting the sport. I love reading and learning about the history of the sport, and overall I like to just have a good time with the people around me. Hopefully others are inspired by my enthusiasm.
