I am a 43 year old, Athletic Director/ turned business owner and full-time triathlon coach for HAT HOUSE Endurance. I have grown up with a love of being very close to the sporting world, both from the athlete and job perspective. When training for my first Ironman while also being an Athletic Director of a large HS in Colorado, I was hit by a car on one of my last training rides after work, and ended up unconscious in a ditch for the authorities to try and find me. After being told I would not be able to run again, I switched my focus from athlete to coach during my healing process, and in the midst of all that decided that coaching people and starting an endurance business to help others reach their potential is where my passion lay. I have since fully recovered from my incident, retired from education, have competed in 2 Ironmans, and qualified for both the World Championships at Ironman and Challenge branded races, and have successfully started HAT HOUSE Endurance Camps and HAT Altitude Team here in Colorado.
