Caroline was raised in Paris and Scarsdale, New York. At age nine, she started swimming competitively for her town’s summer team, and at age thirteen, she started competing year-round for the White Plains YWCA Middies (now Empire Swimming) and trained with coach Ilan Noach. Caroline graduated from Vassar College with a degree in French and Francophone Studies, where she held school records in the 200 and 400 IMs. She holds a Masters degree in Education from Hunter College School of Education, with a specialization in French. When not training as a professional triathlete, Caroline can be found coaching the girls cross-country and swim teams, the boys track team, and working at the brand new Jeffrey H. Loria Family Aquatic Center at Horace Mann in the Bronx.
