Just an Upstate NY guy looking to put 2020 in the rear view mirror, a year that was supposed to be my first 70.3 (Lake Placid) but it wasn't meant to be, and real crush the swim, bike, run in 2021! I thoroughly enjoy the 'high' that I feel when my body recognizes the pain building, but my Adrenaline kicks into high gear and says screw you pain! I found this sport after a series of minor injuries and the FOMO in me kicked in to check out this amazing endurance world. Even though 2020 could be viewed as a bust, it was an incredible year of training for me and really me realize that I am meant to be involved in this sport and it's just such an incredible sense of accomplishment every time I pull off the swim cap or unlace my running sneakers. Looking forward to 2021 and all the fellow athletes/pain train survivors I will continue to meet!
