I am a mother, wife, small business employer and an attorney. Presently I am recovering from a broken leg.

In my free time I have been a master's swimmer for fourteen years. As a child, I swam competitively. I exited the pool for a number of years and began participating in triathlons. I primarily did sprint triathlons for the next ten years or so. I never really trained swimming much. I would get in the pool and throw down a 1000 to 1500 once or twice a week, at most.

One day at a Sprint Triathlon in Lake Las Vegas, I was the first woman out of the water. At that point I said to myself, maybe I should start training again. I got back in the water with an Open Water team and found that I still have an affinity for the black line. That team dissolved, and I found my way to Las Vegas Masters where I have been swimming for the last 12 years.

I have completed 10 or so 1/2 Ironman races as well as many sprint and Olympic distance triathlons. Now because of the pandemic I have found much more open water....

I am a member of the OC Merpeople, Las Vegas Masters Swim Team, and Las Vegas Triathlon Club. Current challenges include: 100k swimming in October 2020 (this one is a lot of swimming even in a non-pandemic year) and swimming the entire Orange County, CA coast.

I also love to travel and swim while traveling. My swim travels include: Hawaii; Iceland; Azores, Croatia; Malta; Portugal; London; Hong Kong; South Africa; etc. This year I was a team member on a Catalina Channel Crossing.

I have a passion for swimming. It has enabled me throughout my life to be a better mom, wife and attorney, and hopefully a better person.
