I’ve been in the sport of triathlon since 2004. My first tri was a half iron (why go short, when you can go longer?) and since then, have raced nothing but 70.3 and IM distance. I chased my Kona dream for the first 10 years, and finally qualified. It was an amazing experience beyond words. My second stint at Kona was less than spectacular as I had crashed on the bike course. I scraped myself off the Queen K to somehow finish with minor injuries. I have also been to 70.3 Worlds 5 times. Outside of triathlon, I am dedicated to people’s journeys to get back to the sports and activities they love as a private practice physical therapist (owner, sole proprietor). Deeper bits...without going into detail...I've overcome, like many others, the adversity life throws at you from a young age. Triathlon has provided so much more than an outlet for stress relief or any other generic reason. It's been a journey of countless lessons applicable to life and business.
