I am an age grouper who finds success in the lower quartile of the finishers. You’ll know me on the race course because of my big smile. I love the 70.3 and 140.6 distance races along with any 5K/10K that has a theme. I train very hard and when the stars align, I have a great race because of the amount of time left to finish. If I am keen on a podium finish I find a race with few in my age group. I participated in the 70.3 Worlds in Nice and was pulled from the swim. I do every race with a purpose. The Nice race was for the Oregon Humane Society. My most favorite charity is Special Olympics Colorado. Doing the Polar plunge at the Boulder Res almost every year for SOCO is my A++ event. My 2020 goals include being a volunteer in the SO triathlon events every where I can afford to. I am loyal to BlueSeventy till then end. A teammate from Bend put me in touch with a guy from your company before Roth. I am solid and steady swimmer, but not fast. I wanted a sleeved swimskin and not what they had at the expo. He sent me a PZ4TX overnight to my hotel and invoiced me. Who does that for a non-pro at a non championship race? It was John Duquette. I had a good swim that day in the swim skim. Races next year are Houston Marathon, Oceanside 70.3, IM Australia, IM CdA 70.3, Ironman Choo, Ironman Florida. Last A race this year is the Galloping 5K in the Springs where I gallop and prance with a stick horse. Yes, a real stick horse. I also donate bikes and clothes to charities that support an active life style for women. I’ve been sober for 22 years and am working on how I eat. It’s a journey that I believe adds to my charm but doesn’t make me special
