Born and raised on the east coast. My father was an immigrant from Greece who owned dinners in Staten Island and NJ. I was never put into athletics growing up, but became obsessed with fitness in my early twenties- mainly running and weights. I made a friend who was into racing bikes and joined and wow what an exhilarating experience. I started swimming after a partial hip dislocation while running on the trails. I was in peak shape at the time of injury and was frustrated about loosing all the hard work I had put it so I joined the nearest gym with a pool to learn to swim. Four to five days a week for the first 3 months and brought my /100 times down from 2:15 to 1:45. Currently my lap times on average are between 1:20-1:32 depending on the session. I’ve progressed quickly because of my dedication and love for swimming! I post quite a bit about it on my IG and recently was gifted the GOPro Hero 7 black for my birthday and use it to post about my training. I have dreams of becoming a professional triathlete.
