Personally: I grew up in an overweight family; one that didn't prioritize fitness. When I got into my early adulthood, I opted to change that trajectory and find a love in fitness. I am a recent adopter of triathlon after having dreamt of partaking in the sport for many years prior. I didn't know how to swim (I am one of those Adult Onset Swimmers), so I watched a plethora of YouTube videos and read many books, including the popular Total Immersion, and lo and behold, it turns out I had the swimmer gene inside of me all along. I currently am in my peak weeks for the upcoming Ironman Florida.
Professionally: I am a senior robotics engineer at Amazon in Seattle. I am near completion (November) of my MBA degree, and with it, I am hoping to leverage my leadership mentality to start my own business.
