I am a long time triathlete. I have been competing in triathlons since 2002 as an amateur. I have completed 28 Iron distance races, quite often winning my age group and have raced Kona 9 times. I am the record holder for both Ultraman Canada (2013) and also Ultra 520 Canada (2018). Open water swimming is one of my favourite parts of training for triathlon. I have completed in 2 ultra swim events, placing in the top 5.
I work full time as a CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant) in Canada for the Canada Revenue Agency.
I am married to Tina Matheson since 2011, who supports me in all my triathlon endeavours.
