I wasn’t into any sports growing up but once I moved to the US, and after having kids, for me the outdoors has become the place where I disconnect and discover myself. I started learning how to swim last year, and could do 25yd with 1 stop, and now I have built endurance in the pool and fought my demons to do open water swimming jn the lake. I finished my first triathlon in Lake Meridian & placed 5th in my age category. I am a mountaineer, having climbed all 5 WA volcanoes. I love to challenge myself and get out of my comfort zone and inspire others, especially moms and women of color to never limit themselves!
