Being outside and active brings me joy, challenge, and self-care to meet my goals. I'm a triathlete, mom to girls (11 and 14), and development manager at an amazing local nonprofit. Seven years ago (at 40) I discovered triathlon and a supportive and fun community of people that came with it. I couldn't swim across the pool the first time I got in, and have grown so much since then. This year I've been training to complete my sixth half-ironman and my first full-distance ironman. As I navigate parenthood and full-time work, I serve to be an example of what is possible.
